SILVERFIT: Industrial research for the development of a home service aimed at promoting universal active ageing

The main objective of the SILVERFIT project is the research into prototyping of a machine to exercise muscle strength, for this, it will have a part of the prototype of a portable machine to be able to do strength exercises, regulated for people with dependency or mobility problems who need to improve their level of strength and maintain their physical condition in general.

The physical part will be reinforced with software part for complement in exercises, testing of these and correction if necessary.

In such a way that it can provide support in rehabilitation phases or objectives of improvement in the user’s muscle tone. To this end, research will be carried out from an industrial point of view with a view to their future commercialisation and the potential for the application of digital technologies applied to processes for the marketing of habitat products and, specifically, for certain groups with greater vulnerability will be known. Progress will be made towards the development of prototypes and testing of the proposed solution, in order, where appropriate, to move towards commercialisation in future phases.

We will try to enhance the internationalization of companies and their impact through network-based technologies that can be used remotely and asynchronously from anywhere with an internet connection and accelerate digital transformation in companies by promoting technology applied to market development, segmentation, diversification and personalization, creating more attractive marketing tools and gamifying the selection and configuration processes.  thus increasing the impact and visibility in value-added markets of the interior design and architecture product prescription.

All this, to promote people’s autonomy through the combination of physical tools with software supported by Artificial Intelligence.

The Cluster of Innovative Solutions for Independent Living (SIVI) participates in this project, which is coordinated by the Cluster Association of the Habitat, Wood, Office and Contract Sector (HABIC), and has the participation of our partner Sumando Más Vida in Valladolid and UP INTELLIGENCE S.L. and the company DHEMEN DESIGN SL

This project has been financed by the AEI (Innovative Business Associations) line of aid of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
