Fundaneed
FUNDANEED is a private, non-profit foundation with a regional scope, founded in 2016. Its mission is the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of child and adolescent mental health and that of their families—a central pillar in the vital development of minors and youth.
The foundation offers society a positive vision, emphasizing that we all have a role in caring for the mental health and emotional well-being of children and young people. This is the core of FUNDANEED’s founding purpose.
Let’s break the silence of stigma by promoting understanding, full inclusion of people with mental health issues, and taking the experiences of children and young people seriously. For this reason, FUNDANEED is committed to developing the most innovative programs to achieve its goals.
The foundation’s primary objective is to detect and treat neurodevelopmental disorders, conduct evaluations to make accurate diagnoses, and propose, based on scientific evidence, the most effective treatments to address various conditions. Its motto: Early detection is the key to overcoming.
FUNDANEED is aware of the serious mental health and emotional well-being challenges facing our youth. It is crucial to seek help when needed. Mental health care in Spain remains an unmet need, and FUNDANEED is committed to strengthening primary care services.
In the context of the SIVI Cluster, FUNDANEED is particularly interested in actions related to innovation in therapeutic interventions for child and adolescent mental health and early detection, aiming to prevent chronic conditions. As a member of the SIVI Cluster, FUNDANEED could contribute pioneering initiatives to advance child and adolescent mental health using artificial intelligence.
