The MEDIC NEST project – Precision MEDIcine Clusters integrating Digital Technologies for New EcoSystems in HealthCare, aims to strengthen excellence in cluster management and facilitate strategic partnership and exchange between clusters and specialized ecosystems across Europe in the field of precision medicine. It will use a cross-approach towards digital technologies by implementing a new ClusterXchange scheme by ESCP-4x MEDIC NEST.
Specific objectives:
– Improve the excellence of partner clusters through capacity building trainings, visits and benchmarking actions to generate value-added support services that support the growth and competitiveness of their SME members.
– Continue to update and develop the strategic planning process for 4 partner groups in line with the objectives of precision medicine, including a comprehensive portfolio of new services, a partnership agreement for the metacluster on precision medicine, a European metacluster strategy in precision medicine, a joint action plan for precision medicine against cancer 2022-2027, including a portfolio of projects, in order to strategically support the European precision medicine ecosystem.
– Develop and implement the ClusterXchange scheme through the MEDIC NEST Meta Cluster Association in precision medicine.
– Expand the cluster’s value chain to create added value, improve collaboration with local and regional public authorities and build alliances in the field of precision medicine with a cross-sectoral approach to digital health solutions.
– Communicate and raise awareness about the Meta-Cluster in precision medicine among stakeholders through a combination of media channel tools, awareness events, and a final conference for the dissemination and expansion of the MEDIC NEST Meta-Cluster for precision medicine.

The consortium is implementing the Cluster Xchange scheme, through the MEDIC NEST Meta Cluster Association in Precision Medicine, and expects to support 80 exchanges in the fields of medical technology, digital technologies, biotechnology, pharmacy and medical imaging (structural and functional).
The project started on February 1, 2022, is funded by COSME, COS-CLUSTER-2020-3-03 European Cluster Excellence Program and will last for 24 months, until January 31, 2024.
