LIVING LAB: Technological equipment in the Living Lab environment integrated into the physical headquarters of the ‘La Aldehuela’ Technological Innovation Hub

The project finances the incorporation of innovative technology in the so-called Living Lab space of the “La Aldehuela Technological Innovation Hub” in Zamora, in order to significantly contribute to improving the quality of life of the people it supports. It aims to generate solutions that allow knowledge, interaction, and promotion of personal autonomy and independent living for vulnerable people, with tangible impact and lasting results in the field of social services in the Community of Castilla y León.

The Living Lab of Innovative Solutions for Independent Living provides a space to:

  1. Learn, be inspired, express opinions and start being part of something important.
  2. To participate and identify real needs of the people of Zamora, contributing to the growth of the Living Lab.
  3. Interact, play and live immersive experiences, promoting intergenerational connection and facilitating technological adoption.
  4. To learn about already proven solutions with potential implementation in new environments in Zamora to provide individualised local care services, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.
  5. The SIVI Living Lab is presented as an innovation project with the purpose of promoting care, improving the quality of life and promoting the independence of the elderly thanks to the use of new technologies.

Living Lab: engine of innovation

The Living Lab of the Technological Innovation HUB of La Aldehuela wants to show how the Socio-Assistance Technology sector in Spain has made visible its character as a strategic sector, as a driver of innovation and key in the solution of important challenges of society.

This project is co-financed within the framework of subsidies aimed at carrying out innovation projects that promote personal autonomy in the field of social services in Castilla y León within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
